6 months ago there was a celebration of Baby’s birth! Since that time so much has happened. Baby has learned so much, grown a ton, and as parents we’ve just gone with it. But, in honor of him being 6 months old, I thought I’d post pictures of his journey thus far.

At birth, he looked like this. From the moment he was born, Hun said that Baby looked just like me. As time goes on, and other people mention the same, I am now convinced of the truth.

Baby's born - He has mommy's lips!

And as a newborn, he did what all newborns do…sleep – a lot!

He started to show us the things he’d been practicing after a month, by doing this:

But, he also showed us how much he enjoyed playing with us by smiling and laughing!

At 3 months he then decided that the playmat was not for sitting or lying on, so much as to do this…

That wasn’t enough though, he began sitting on his own this month too!

He still loves breastfeeding and co-sleeping, along with the fact that he’s never too far from his mama.  His favorite things to do really are type on the computer, read books, chew on everything in sight, and get into things, along with standing.  From a whopping 8lbs. 14ozs., 21in. at birth to 22lbs. 8.5ozs. and 27.5in. he is our wonderful, blessed, delightful, intelligent, inquisitive, adventurous, babbling, book reading, cruising, teething, and (sometimes) fussy boy whom we love dearly!  Or as Mama says often, “my-big-beautiful-healthy-strong-smart boy”

Oh my! Baby is soooo cute. That hair, that smile, especially love the look in the bathtub and hanging with monkey friend. He looks so happy. What a fun look at his first months. And he is beyond adorable : )

I know….I turn around some days and watch him play and it just amazes me first that he’s our little boy and second that he’s come as far as he has in only 6 months! 🙂
