This year, I’m reflecting as part of Reverb 2013.
Adventure: Did you go on an adventure in 2013? What sort?
If you’ve been reading my blog for any period of time, you know that we love adventures. We love going on long, unplanned, road trips. The thrill of having no destination in mind, other than a green portion of the map, is something we live for. For us, it’s more than just the forest adventure, it’ also the way of getting there. Taking state and US roads, versus the interstate system has proven to be much more fun. We sometimes find our next destination just by following a road.
While in the car driving to these unknown places, we experience the feeling of freedom. We laugh, share, disagree, trust, and love all at once. Our foundation as a family grows stronger as we traverse the roadways, looking for our next adventure. This led us to deciding we should fulfill our dream of traveling unencumbered by living full-time in an RV.
