So, I realized all too late last week that I didn’t actually post the update. I’m going to chalk that up to having stayed up way too late the night before and sleeping what felt like half the day away. I was up with a spinning mind full of information and possibilities, all good. I’ve relaxed since then, though there’s still some anxious anticipation in the background.

Earlier this week, Baby Boy and I were busy around town. I spent a nice few hours with my friend and doula, but also met some other women as part of a group. This was interesting and fun all at once. I’ve been invited back to their meet-up in 2 weeks. I’m thinking I’ll go again. Besides, the meeting is at Panera and who doesn’t want a quick Panera meal twice a month?

As a result of all the activity and household business I’ve been rather content to just hang out inside at home the rest of the week. I also allowed myself late mornings the rest of the week. This morning even, I contemplated another late morning, but decided to get up and get cracking on a bit of work. Nonetheless, I feel much more rested and content.

As for other wellness topics. I’ve gone yet another week with not taking my vitamins and supplements. So that declaration I made two week’s ago didn’t quite work. I don’t have any good excuse either, that’s what makes it almost embarrassing. I will say, this next week should be slower in many ways, so my focus should be higher again. Time will tell and instead of embarrassing myself again, I’ll suffice to say that I’ll try. When it comes to other food habits, well….We still have our great grass-fed meat and good vegetables. We are eating them, but this week we had Mexican twice – in a row. Mostly it was because of the running around town bit.

As a result of not taking my supplements and the eating out bit, my eczema is surely not very happy. I don’t have a huge flare up, but there’s definitely the tell-tell dry, rough, flaky, and itchy skin I’m battling. Thankfully, I do know ways to address this thanks to that awesome Shea Moisture butter and good, healthy, clean foods.

I believe that’s about it. On a more private note, I definitely have had a return to regular menstruation, even as Baby Boy continues to nurse daily. So, I’m definitely paying more attention to my body’s signals.
