This week has been busy and not busy all at the same time. I started off the week sleeping almost half the day on Monday (by accident) and thereby essentially missing an appointment, though it wasn’t set in stone. The positive to this is that I did get some of the other business done, which was good. A great piece is that I got some much needed rest as overnight, I hardly slept instead tossing and turning all night. My brain was full of so many things, yet I couldn’t put them completely down and just sleep. It happens sometimes, but that surely wasn’t the night as we all needed to be up around 4am!

The other days this week were filled with a little bit of downtime and appointments. We learned some good news this week, which we are truly happy about. Now to work out a few details related to that news and see what happens. So, despite having bought our lovely meat and vegetables, we’ve thus far only had one meal at home! That was yesterday. Some beef oxtails with cabbage, tasty!

mmm…mmmm….good!

I’ve been drinking a little kefir each day, which is good. I’m not entirely sure why I haven’t these last few weeks. Sometimes I wonder about myself and my habits. Is that normal? Nonetheless, I’ve enjoyed doing that. There’s also been kombucha around lately and Hun seems to really really like it. Hopefully our kombucha and sourdough starters will be here next week. Hmmm…I think I need a jar for the kombucha. Guess I’ll be looking around for one this weekend.

There’s also been a bit of creativity this week. The sweater I’m making for Baby Boy is about 3/4ths finished! Next, I think I’ll crochet another 2 pairs of socks. I liked the last pattern, but I think I’ll grab 2 other patterns. Turns out, I’ve decided these handmade crocheted socks will be going to my sisters for Christmas this year. I just might also crochet something for each of their children, too. With that being said, it seems this year will be a crocheted year for me. After all the time I spent away from crocheting over the last 2 years I’m quite delighted with this prospect/idea!

As you can probably tell, I’m still feeling pretty good this week. I do look forward to more meals at home next week and more improvement with my skin as a result. Every day is a fight for more wellness and I know that as a result I am more well each day!

Tell me about your wellness journey? How have things been for you lately?

And not to leave out my photo of the day for October 2nd

31 days of photography, diapers, washing, cloth diapers, clean

It was time to wash Baby Boy’s diapers. That just happened to be the highlight of my day yesterday!
