As we all gear up for the holidays and we here at home wind down from all the work we’ve been doing over the last month, I figured I’d do a quick post highlighting the updates from last month, plus the random posts in the time I was away.

In October I’d set my sights on doing a photo a day challenge. Well, I got through most of the month. After moving to our new place and getting started with our work here, it became quickly apparent that I wouldn’t be finishing the challenge. I’ll have to try again another time.

There was also talk of a baby and weaning from breastfeeding Baby Boy in October as well.

I left blogging mostly behind until mentioning that we’d moved, being unsettled, and still not being moved in. Then there wasn’t a party as planned and here we are today.

All in all, we haven’t quite moved in, though the plan is to get our belongings out of the garage this weekend and hopefully get everything set-up in the coming week. Hun’s mother and grandmother will be coming to visit for Christmas and we definitely need to have the house in order. This includes, having a floor laid, all the doors being returned to their doorways, and possibly the kitchen counters finally being refinished.

The house looks a bit like this as we enter yet another crunch time:

messy, remodeling, house, unfinished doors, unfinished, remodeling, house

Ah, moving. It’s a work in progress always.
And I like that you’re blogging more these days. I remember the talk of a baby! No doubt, you make beautiful ones.
