Many think of February as the month of love, mostly because Valentine’s Day is there. Many people have traditions of using the entire month to demonstrate love, some only do up until Valentine’s, others (like us) treat it like a normal month.
Other than that, February is about love for us, since Hun and I’s anniversary is at the beginning.
Then, there’s still Valentine’s Day. This year, I made a pair of both non-slip slippers and socks for Hun, which I shared as part of the Natural Parenting Network’s topic on DIY. Plus, Baby Boy and I made sure to do a simple paper craft for Hun.
Another really cool thing that happened last month, is sharing our house and starting a mini-series on buying a house – You Too Can Buy a House! I’m already getting great comments about how it’s such a helpful series, which of course is super cool!
I also did some reflecting on selfies, my history with them and the reality that there really aren’t any selfies of me now that I’ve become a mom. Although this is ok with me, it was quite interesting to reflect on that progression. Then there’s the picture of me in the ocean.
We also went to my sisters’ birthday party. At the party, we were able to get some great pictures of us and our children. It apparently was impossible to have a picture of just us sisters, as we kept getting photobombed by family. Plus, a recipe for the Peppermint & Sweet Orange Bath Salts I made as a gift.
And lastly, I discussed some changes I’m making with the blog this year.
Oh, and did I mention that BlogHer picked up my post about Hun and I’s anniversary this year to feature? Yep, first time ever and so unexpected!! I’m really pleased it happened though. I’m actually still in awe that I have a featured post on BlogHer. I really don’t know what to say about this, other than it happened, that’s how in awe I am.
