Today, I’m sharing a great new children’s book, Rungle in the Jungle, by Robert Logan Rogers.
When I announced I had a new book for us to read, Monkey Boy climbed up next to me so fast! I think because the book is on the computer, his interest was higher. He wants to be involved in computer work so much, yet doesn’t get much opportunity. Maybe it’s my control issue, or maybe it’s that he’s 2 and just randomly touches buttons and uses keystrokes I know nothing about to change things and it takes me for-ever to figure out how to change it back!
Nonetheless, we cuddled on the couch and read Rungle in the Jungle, a newer book by Robert Logan Rogers. The illustrations in this book are really cute, yet also well done. The storyline had a hint of the tortoise and the hare, but definitely different. And the messaging was great. I love the last line, “If you look past your fear you will always be free”. I think it was perfect way to wrap up a book about the animals coming together for a race.
So, if you get the chance, definitely check out Rungle in the Jungle and share some cuddle and story time with your little one! And, if you’re hesitant about a new children’s book, check out this video for the book.
