This week, I’m interrupting the Life Skills series to share some photos from recent park adventures fun. I hope you enjoy! The series will be back next week, thank you for your patience.

Monkey Boy has recently been all about climbing on things. Whether it be the furniture or a random pole somewhere. Thankfully, a few of our nearby parks have actual climbing apparatus!

Unbeknownst to me, there’s a new way to swing!

Check out the guys in this photo! Just melts my heart those smiles and the fun they’re having…

I feel quite privileged that there’s also a train and carousel!

I’ve never seen a zip line for children, so this was fun!

What adventures have you had lately? Any chances to hang out and enjoy some of these last summer days? What are some highlights from parks nearby where you live?

Aww, he sure looks like he’s having a great time! Our apartment building is right next to a park, I often take my little sister there after she finishes school!

Parks can be so great, not just for the littles, but also for us! I know, in a contained park (with not too many people), I can let Baby Boy play and wander without feeling like I need to ‘follow him around’ or otherwise keep such a close eye on him. It’s kind of like being at home, but with sun and other ways to get his energy out! 🙂

Thanks, Jen! I love watching the two of them interact and play together! The giggles and screams of fun and laughter are just so much more beautiful to me! And, yes, I think we’re pretty lucky to have a train and a carousel at a park nearby….of course Baby Boy loves them both! 🙂
