Hi there fellow bloggers and lovely readers!
I’m excited, nervous, overwhelmed, and oh so happy to be back!
I’ve been gone for so long, I even wondered if it was worth it to come back. I know I have so much work ahead of me. The routine of blogging, the connectedness and engagement with others, the chance to write out my thoughts and feelings, and to be heard and understood and even just work through my life journey. All of that excites me!
So so so much has happened, mostly all good. Well, except for hitting that deer a week after Turtle Boy was born! I’m still so thankful neither of the boys were with us as we went to get more water.
I can barely believe that Turtle Boy is 2 months old (and counting)! His birth was everything, nothing, and so much more than I expected, hoped for, and didn’t fully grasp. Turtle Boy’s birth provided some much needed healing and an even deeper sense of gratitude, faith, and belief in the nature of a woman’s body. (If you haven’t already, check out Turtle Boy’s birth story here).
Hun and I both have had birthdays and the holidays have come and gone, all while I wasn’t blogging. So much living, I hope to share with you all one day. Now, its a new year and in just a few short months, Monkey Boy will turn 3!
Time really does fly. I sometimes wish I could slow it down, just a bit, so I can remember all the things. Yet, I also know life is as life does and so slowing down time would create the illusion of capturing everything, except that I still only have the memories.
Nonetheless, I’m back to blogging. At least sometimes (for now) and I’m happy to be here.
I’m excited to see what 2016 holds for me, my family, and this blog.
Until next time, I’ll leave you with this, just because.
