This series is designed to share some of the great things I’ve found on the web over the last few weeks. I’ll be posting this series every month on the last Wednesday. I hope you find some things in here to spark your thinking, bring some inspiration, or even introduce you to something new and wonderful or exciting.

seeing, hearing, doing, reading, life, challenge, currently, monthly, list, series

Seeing

* Lots of clothes drying in the beautiful sunshine

sun, clothes, clothesline, drying,

* Sunshine and growing boys I’ve been given the opportunity to Mother

* Beautiful every day moments

play, toddler, fun, family, ordinary, day

baby, toddler, family, evening, ordinary, day

nap, baby, toddler, ordinary, day, quiet, sleeping

Doing

* Summer water play. That really cool pool we have was gifted to the boys, but here’s another cool one or even this one.

family, fun, water, wet, spray, spray park, toddler, summer

toddler, summer, water, play, backyard, family, fun, pool

baby, summer, water, play, family, fun

* Learning to handletter and creating prints

lettering, handlettering, creativity, sign, creative

Hearing

* I was recently introduced to Lauren Daigle. Now, in all honesty, I’m not one to seek out music that’s considered of the gospel genre. Yet, I also can’t say that I haven’t ever listened to or enjoyed gospel music. I enjoy good music and different genre’s, despite my having a ‘favorite’ or preferred. I do like what I’ve heard from Lauren Daigle though. So, take a listen here.

* Lukas Graham. His singing captivates me, I’m really enjoying his voice. This is one of the more popular songs of his right now. But this is also a really good one.

Reading

* Lately, I haven’t had the chance to read very much, but I have been looking into different tools, tips, and techniques related to blogging.  Reading posts and forums counts doesn’t it?

* I’ve also read If I Have to Tell You One More Time, 1-2-3 Magic, and How to Talk So Kids Will Listen & Listen So Kids Will Talk. It’s been good to get some practical examples and tips as I’m learning to be a better Mom. This Motherhood gig is quite a difficult role and I find I struggle quite a bit with Monkey Boy these days. So, resources it is and right now these few books have been helpful.

What have you been up to this month? I’d love it if you mentioned some of your finds this month in the comments below.

    Great update!

I feel bad that I haven’t made time to go to a spray park yet this year. I have to do that soon!

I love Lauren Daigle! She has an awesome voice and her music is amazing.

I have a list of parenting books that I need to read. I’ve been so slow with reading lately.

Thanks for sharing this update. It looks like the summer has been good to you so far.

    Wishing you a lovely day.
    xoxo

You mayn’t have gone to a spray park just yet, but you’ve been to the lake! We haven’t made it to see friends at their lake house lol Yes, the summer has been nice and I’m grateful for that. Sometimes it’s the small things that really make it for me. Sometimes it’s the bigger things, so it’s good to have a mix 🙂

I have 2 sons, too, but they are now 18 and 21! Enjoy those little kid years with those adorable boys – it all goes by very fast!

How to Talk… was a great book! I used it constantly when my boys were younger. I also loved Siblings Without Rivalry by the same authors. They were both well-used!

I really like the song 7 Years, too.

I found you through Small Victories Linkup!

I’m finding how fast the time goes by most certainly now that we have 2. There are still slow days, but even those days are relatively fast in the grand scheme of things. Thanks for stopping by to comment, Sue! 🙂
