Ahhh summer! Its coming to a close. Or at least the calendar says it is. If you’re in the Southeast, like me, its still quite hot and humid. In fact, we’ll be gearing up for “Indian Summer”, as they like to say, in just a few weeks.
But this time also means that many of you are gearing up for school to start. You’re taking those last summer vacation trips, having a few more relaxing barbecues, and hanging out at the pool, lake, or beach.
Or maybe you’re like me and there is no back to school to prepare for. Maybe you have no particular beginning or end because your children are still small. Or maybe, you know your routine is changing, but haven’t quite figured out what that looks like, probably because it changes all the time! Either way, I know you’ll want to mix things up a bit.
So, whether you have a last barbecue of the season, or you just want to try something new, I have this great barbecue sauce recipe for you.
It’s tasty, easily customizable, and quick. Seriously, you can make it in 5 minutes or less! You can even make it thicker for slapping meat on the grill or somewhere in between (that’s how we like it) to use as a marinade and to add extra flavor. You can even use it as a ‘dipping sauce’ for different things. I love putting it in burgers and having just a bit on the side for homemade fries. I also love putting it in the slow cooker with some meat for making anything shredded.
