I just returned from an incredibly amazing experience – my first blogging conference!

I just got home yesterday.  The boys and I hung out together all day, no pressure.  I’m happy to be home with my guys, though I’m still a little tired this morning.  I also feel excitement for the future.  The travel and travel drama, learning sessions, meeting so many wonderful people, networking with brands, and being open and vulnerable for 3 days with Turtle Boy traipsing along with me, was exhausting.  Still though, I have so much excitement for the future, building relationships, and the opportunity to be and do more!

Meeting people who were previously strangers and hearing them say things that directly touched my heart and mind was personally solidifying. Learning some of the truly incredible missions people have was inspiring. Listening to stories of achievement and accomplishment and hearing common themes weaved throughout those different lives reminded me of some common life truths. And, just the experience of being among a group of professional, passionate, and dedicated women (and a few men) helped me to see that though I may be different today as a Wife and Mom, I’m still very capable.

I’m currently writing down some really big goals for the future. Also, some goals for now that are part of the bigger goals. I’m sure of a few actions I’ll take over the next weeks, months, and year. Plus, I know I’ll be at the Be Blogalicious conference for their 9th year in 2017!

I may not know all the parts of things, but I do know I won’t be starting over! More new-to-me things I’ll start doing.  I know I’ll continue connecting with the great people I met, sharing, encouraging, supporting , strengthening, and loving one another. I know I’ll step out of my comfort zone in some places, traverse terrain I may not be fully ready for, and walk blindly in the dark at times, but there is light.

The light within me and the light from others will guide my path and help me along my journey. I’ll likely learn and become ever more comfortable with and about myself. I imagine I’ll face challenges in ways I never thought possible and I may even trip on occasion. Despite all of the unknowns, I’ll keep moving and I. Will. Not. Fail. There is no failure, only the gaining of knowledge and strength!

So much thanks to Stacey Ferguson and her family of Be Blogalicious, the Blogalicious Team, the sponsors, the presenters, and all of the attendees.

Plus, I give special thanks to the One2One Network for sponsoring my attendance at the conference.  I love that their network is open to everyone (men, women, and even non-bloggers) and sign up is so easy. One2One Network has over 20,000 members and is affiliated with many different brands, fitting markets from food, to parenting, to fashion to social good to fitness and more!  And, their newest user portal is easy to use and navigate.  I look forward to working with them on future campaigns.

I’m happy to be an influencer in their network and their Founder/CEO, Barbara Jones, is a wonderful woman, so down-to-earth and easy to talk to.  I had the opportunity to listen to her speak on a panel during the conference, as well as have dinner with her one night.  I’m grateful for this new connection with her and the wonderful opportunities One2One Network provides for women and bloggers.  Curious?  Find out more in this interview with Barbara Jones.

Now, let’s all do this!

Do you ever have to relax and recuperate after traveling and learning?  Do you find traveling to a conference to be a whirlwind of activity, followed by a quiet time of thoughtfulness?
