Turtle Boy has hit 11 months with us and he’s quite the determined little boy. He now has 6 teeth and loves to eat the same foods as us.
Turtle Boy and his smile has lit my days for 10 months now. He’s so independent, determined, and opinionated about what he likes, wants, and needs.
In many ways, I feel less invincible and more vulnerable when we drive by a cemetery today. I also feel the deep pain and sadness of my grief about my Dad.
Turtle Boy has officially turned 9 months now! I can’t believe how fast the time has gone. And now, how fast he is crawling and cruising everywhere!
Turtle Boy is now 8 months old! He’s still a delight, though so very different from when Monkey Boy was his age.
Things are getting better. My dad will always be with me. We hike and I explore the legacy that is me.
This Father’s Day wasn’t so easy. In some ways, it also wasn’t too hard. We had some celebration and spent some time visiting my Dad’s gravesite. Hun received homemade cards from the boys and I.
Life is a compilation of small snippets, where we have the opportunity to live and breathe, smell the smells, travel, love, and just be. We can do it alone. Or we can do it together. I choose together.
A tidy home doesn’t necessarily make for a happy home. A home is so much more than tidy and clean. A home is created out of love, every step of the way.
